Lenny Kravitz has been heating up fans’ social media feeds with thirst trap photos of himself doing everyday things. His latest on is no exception – building a deck while sporting an open shirt that shows off his six-pack abs.

But fans aren’t the only ones to take notice – his daughter Zoe did, too. Her reaction? Teasing her dad about potentially playing a stripper in the Magic Mike franchise.

“You auditioning for MM3?” she wrote in the comments, tagging Magic Mike star Channing Tatum.

“I’ve been ready!” Lenny joked back.

Playful banter between father and daughter is nothing new – Lenny has always been candid about their close bond.

“Zoë and I have a very open dialogue. We can talk about anything and everything,” he shared with PEOPLE in an October 2020 interview. “My mother and my grandfather had a very close relationship—to the point where, as a teenager, I thought it was ridiculous. They loved each other, and they valued each other. So when I see the relationship between Zoë and myself, I see the relationship between my mother and my grandfather. It makes me very happy that we’ve elevated to that level.”

While there’s still no word on the franchise becoming a trilogy, But the funny exchange reached another level when Channing, who starred in both 2012’s Magic Mike and its 2015 sequel, joined in on the conversation.

“Oh s–t!! Doing the lords work i see!! Will be calling you shortly to get into your schedule my friend. Hehehe,” Channing wrote.

“Peace my man,” Lenny replied.

Channing and Zoe are working together on the thriller titled Pussy Island, which was announced last month. Zoe, who wrote the script with E.T. Feigenbaum, will be helming the project while Channing will be starring in it.

According to Channing, he didn’t even know Zoe personally until recently, when she reached out to him about a role in what will be her directorial debut film, Pussy Island.

“When Zoë called me about this, I was shocked. I didn’t know her,” Channing told Deadline in June. “I’d watched her in movies, knew she produced High Fidelity and had seen that, but I didn’t know she was creating on a level like this, where she wanted to direct.”

He also opened up about a fashion advice he got from the stylish actress.

“When someone can just come out and tell me I should not be wearing Crocs, and is so adamant about it, she completely convinced me and I never wear Crocs anymore,” Channing shared of their first meeting.

To which Zoë responded that she was just trying to be a “good friend.”

“I get it, but I totally loved Crocs for a hot second, and in one hang she was like, you can’t ever do that again. And I said, ‘OK, fine.’ “

“Just to be clear, there are people out there who can pull off the Crocs thing; I just wasn’t sure you were one of them,” Zoë clarified.

Channing did stop rocking the footwear though. “I feel cooler, and her point of view on me and Crocs was legit. She had a good argument,” he said, adding, “The one thing I can pull off, is listening.”
