Yvette Nicole Brown has tied the knot with Anthony Davis! The 53-year-old actress and the 42-year-old actor said “I do” on Saturday, December 14, at The Maybourne Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, surrounded by 200 guests.
“I had no nerves when it came to marrying this man,” Yvette shared with People. “He is the one for me. Absolutely.” The couple looked stunning for their big day—Yvette wore a beautiful mermaid gown by Ines di Santo, while Anthony sported a custom brown suit from Vinny’s Custom Clothes.
In a deeply personal moment, Yvette’s brother Paris walked her down the aisle, as her father, who has Alzheimer’s disease, was unable to attend. Anthony’s sister also stepped in, as both of his parents have passed away. Yvette reflected on the significance of this: “So my brother and his sister stood in. So it was nice to walk down the aisle toward family and with family, even if it’s not the family we wish we had in those roles.”
In a truly touching gesture, Anthony arranged for Yvette’s father to attend the ceremony. Coordinating with her father’s care facility, he made sure her dad could be there to witness the occasion.
The wedding also featured some familiar faces from Yvette’s Community family, with co-stars Ken Jeong, Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Gillian Jacobs, and Jim Rash among the 200 guests in attendance.
Yvette and Anthony’s journey together has been a heartwarming one. Though they met in their twenties, the pair lost touch before reconnecting in 2021, and the rest is history.
We wish the newlyweds all the best in this exciting new chapter!
