Last Friday (September 3), Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook shocked fans when they announced their split after three years of marriage.

“Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions,” they said in a joint statement, via People.

“We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary.”

“We have made this decision together through an immense amount of respect and consideration for one another and request that you do the same in understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details or commenting further,” they went on to say.

Multiple reports also came out that Kaley filed for the divorce on the same day they made their announcement. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce.

She’s since been spotted back at work, filming her upcoming movie with Pete Davidson, Meet Cute.

By Monday (September 6), fans also noticed that she made some changes in her Instagram profile.

Her bio, which previously included a reference to her marriage, “Mrs. @mrtancook,” plus their family life, “Many 4-legged kids. I play pretend. Adopt don’t shop — giddy up! Yes, Norman Productions. ‘What, like it’s hard?’”, now only says “Yes, Norman,” referencing her production company.

As for how she’s doing post-split, a source tells People the 35-year-old actress is “doing fine.”

The source also offered their take on what may have led to their split.

Apparently, Kaley and Karl “haven’t spent that much time together recently.”

“She has a lot going on in her career now and loves her work,” the source says. “Their relationship is just following different paths. A marriage doesn’t work if you rarely see the other one.”
