Robert Pattinson won’t be retiring his cape just yet — and fans are in for a treat as he is set to take on the role of the caped crusader once again!
It’s been announced that a sequel of The Batman is coming. And yes, Rob is returning as the titular superhero of the films.
The big news was revealed during the 2022 CinemaCon event in Las Vegas on Tuesday (April 26). Multiple outlets are also reporting that director Matt Reeves will be back to helm the second film in this new Batman series.
Matt was on hand to share the news, saying:
“Thank you all for your tremendous support for The Batman. We couldn’t have gotten her without the faith and enthusiasm of all your teams around the world.
I’m excited to jump back into this world for the next chapter.”
The exciting news follows the reveal that The Batman got very big numbers during its first streaming week on HBO Max.
