Rihanna is showing up for A$AP Rocky in a big way.
The “Diamonds” singer and Fenty mogul made a rare court appearance on Wednesday (January 29) to support her longtime partner as he faces trial for allegedly shooting his former friend, A$AP Relli.
Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was charged with two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm in August 2022. He pleaded not guilty at the time, and earlier this month, he rejected a plea deal. With the trial officially beginning on January 24, Rihanna had not been seen in court—until now.
According to People, Rihanna arrived at the courthouse through a private entrance around 10 AM PT. She took a seat in the front row alongside Rocky’s mother and sister, showing quiet support as proceedings unfolded.
While inside, Rihanna reportedly “remained stoic” and was seen watching intently as A$AP Relli testified on the stand. She and the rest of Rocky’s family stayed through a short recess, never leaving his side.
After the session ended, Rihanna reportedly left the courthouse with Rocky, though they avoided public attention by exiting through a private door, keeping a low profile amid the legal proceedings.
Her courtroom support came just one night after she and Rocky were spotted enjoying a date night together, proving that, no matter the circumstances, Rihanna is standing by her man.
