Prince Harry has launched his first major project since stepping down from his royal duties: HeadFIT – a 24/7 resource encourages military personnel to take a proactive approach to mental fitness.

“I’ve long believed the military community should lead the way for the rest of society. For too long we have been waiting for problems to arise and then reacting to them. HeadFIT is a proactive approach to mental fitness, focusing on our own potential to increase our performance, using proven methods in sport science.”

“This is about optimization of self. This is about being the best you can be. This is about gaining advantage, whether facing an opponent or overcoming a challenging situation,” he continued. “This is about building resilience that will match that of the most world class athletes and prepare you for everyday stress. To be HeadFIT, is to be at your peak performance.”

The project, which launched on Monday (April 27), is a joint effort on Ministry of Defense and The Royal Foundation’s mental health initiative, Heads Together, which Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton launched in 2016, and has been in development since October 2017 with the

Harry also talks more on the importance of training your “mind and body” as one in a video on HeadFIT’s website.

“Today when we talk about fitness, we don’t just mean how fast you can run or how much weight you can carry. This is about mental fitness, strength and resilience. Not just while you’re wearing a uniform, but for the rest of your life. If you want to be truly fit, strong and healthy, you need to train your mind and body as one,” he said. “HeadFIT is a resource for everyone, whatever your job, whatever your rank, whatever you’ve got going on at home.”

“All service personnel are vital role models in society and we need you to be able to access that extra 10, maybe 15 percent, something that can only be obtained when you adopt a regular routine for training the mind and the body as one single unit,” he continued. “I know this to be true, it works for me.”

Harry and wife Meghan Markle, a.k.a. the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, officially stepped down from royal duties last month, but have made known that they will continue with their philanthropic endeavors.

They are currently quarantining with their son Archie in Los Angeles, California. The couple has also been giving back amid the coronavirus pandemic. They recently donated $112,000 –  earnings from their May 2018 wedding broadcast – to the U.K. charity Feeding Britain and personally delivering meals to people living with critical illnesses through Project Angel Food.

Prince Harry also took time to bring some comfort to vulnerable families during this difficult time – he sat down for a video chat with parents of seriously ill children, offering up encouragement and praise as he listened to their stories and struggles.

In the meantime, Lindsay Lohan is offering some advice for Harry and Meghan on how to avoid the paparazzi.

On Monday’s (April 27) episode of Andy Cohen Live on SiriusXM, Lindsay told the host, “The timing right now luckily is everyone is more at home. But, once that’s over… just… get drivers.”

Andy noted that the couple had moved into a place where there’s “a ton of paparazzi.”

Lindsay agreed, saying, “I mean, unless they own another, a different private beach, right? You can’t go to those beaches without being — you can’t even surf out far enough.”

“It’s just really hard to do anything publicly [there],” she added.
