Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are stateside.
After moving to Vancouver Island in Canada following their decision to step down as senior members of the Royal Family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have now reportedly settled into their new home in the United States.
Multiple outlets report that the royal couple is now living in Los Angeles.
They previously announced plans to split their time between the U.K. and North America, and according to a source, “It was always their plan to eventually be based in California since their work life will be focused in the US.”
As many fans undoubtedly know, L.A. is Meghan’s hometown – she was born and raised in the city. Her mom, Doria Ragland, also lives in the area.
There’s been speculation that Meghan will make a return to acting after their exit from the Royal Family, with reports coming out that she had signed a voiceover deal with Disney.
On Thursday (March 26), Disney released a teaser trailer for an upcoming documentary film, Elephant, which will debut on the company’s streaming platform on April 3 in anticipation of Earth Day.
According to reports, as part of Meghan’s agreement to participate in the film, Disneynature and the Disney Conservation Fund will be making a donation to Elephants Without Borders, organization in Botswana working to ensure that both people and elephants thrive.
It’s not entirely clear when the Sussexes moved to the city (their rep has yet to respond to requests for comments), but sources say the royal couple has been practicing safe behaviors to help flatten the curve and slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Recently, Clarence House announced that Prince Harry’s dad, Prince Charles, has tested positive for coronavirus.
According to Clarence House, the Prince of Wales has been showing “mild symptoms” but is said to be in “good health.” He’s also been “working from home throughout the last few days as usual.”
“It is not possible to ascertain from whom the prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks,” the palace adds.
His wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, has also been tested, but the results came out negative.
