Margot Robbie is ready to say goodbye to her first California home with husband Tom Ackerley.
According to Dirt, the couple moved into their $5 Million Venice Beach home in 2019, but it wasn’t until recently that she put her old home in Hancock Park, which they bought in 2017, up for sale.
The “Soho inspired” two-storey, four-bedroom home is located on a pretty tree-lined street and offers lots of privacy with its high walls, secured gates and a towering hedgerow. The home is also extra secure with its camera-equipped security system.
The home’s interior showcases wide-plank European oak floorboards, designer tile and whole-house audio, a wine cellar. It also has a living area with high ceilings and allow in lots of light, a high-end gourmet kitchen that contains a huge island as well as a Carrara marble sink and a six-seat snack counter, and a family room that features a polished marble fireplace. It’s great for pet lovers, too – it has a private pet room with separate outside entrance.
There’s a room on the main floor, which comes with its own en-suite bathroom and can be used as a home office, nanny room or guest room. The other three bedrooms, all with its own en-suite, are located on the second floor.
The master bedroom comes with its own with private balcony, marble bath and fitted walk-in closet.
The .15 acre property also has a detached two-car garage which has been turned into an open-air cabana located alongside the swimming pool and spa in the backyard. Plus, there’s a small patio behind the cabana that features a tile-accented bar and a convenient pool bath.
This was the home they bought when they moved to Los Angeles from London in 2017 after tying the knot in 2016. They dropped a cool $2.725 million on the property. It’s now listed for sale at $3.475 million.
Margot and Tom prefer to keep details of their relationship private – even their 2016 wedding was kept under wraps!
But back in June, Margot gave a rare comment about her husband.
“My husband hates snakes,” she revealed during her appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden.
“He’s English. You guys don’t have them obviously really at all in England, I guess. But I mean, they’re everywhere! I’m living in L.A. and there was a 2-meter snake…just outside the kitchen, just in the garden the other day. Yeah, he almost had a coronary,” she continued.
