Surprise! Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell are now husband and wife!
Lily shared the happy news on Instagram with a series of stunning photos from their wedding.
“I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife,” Lily captioned a photo of them kissing. “On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell.”
“What started as a fairytale, is now my forever reality. I’ll never be able to properly describe how otherworldly this past weekend was, but magical is a pretty good place to start…” she wrote alongside another post.
Charlie also shared photos from their special day on his IG, writing, “I married the most generous, thoughtful, and beautiful person I’ve ever known. I love you @lilyjcollins.”
The couple secretly tied the knot over the holiday weekend in Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado, and the woodsy surrounding – complete with waterfall – provided a dreamy fairy-tale like backdrop for their wedding.
The bride looked absolutely gorgeous in her lace-embellished Ralph Lauren gown while the groom looked dapper rocking a classic black tux.
Lily and Charlie have been dating since 2019, and it’s no secret that this loved-up pair are huge fans of the outdoors – they got engaged during a cross-country road trip nearly a year ago.
“I’ve been waiting my lifetime for you and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together,” Lily captioned a photo of them kissing while showing off her new bling to announce their engagement news.
Charlie also posted about their engagement on his IG, writing, “In a time of uncertainty and darkness you have illuminated my life. I will forever cherish my adventure with you. 💍🎉”
