Katy Perry is always finding new ways to blast off—literally.
The pop icon and soon-to-be tour headliner unveiled her set list for the upcoming Lifetimes Tour… while floating through outer space.
Yes, you read that right. The 40-year-old singer hitched a ride aboard Blue Origin’s all-female space flight on April 14, and she brought some very Perry-style items along with her: a live daisy in honor of her daughter, Daisy Dove, and a butterfly that carried the handwritten set list.
In the video feed from space, Katy flashed the butterfly at the camera, offering fans a glimpse of what’s in store for her next big live show experience.
While the image was a bit hard to decipher, some eagle-eyed fans were able to make out some key song titles: “Chained to the Rhythm,” “Teary Eyes,” “Dark Horse,” “Teenage Dream,” “Unconditionally,” “Has a Heart,” “Last Friday Night,” “I Kissed a Girl,” “Harleys in Hawaii,” and “OK.”
It’s not every day your fave pop star reveals tour details while orbiting the Earth. But this is Katy Perry we’re talking about—she’s not exactly known for doing things the ordinary way.
No word yet on additional tour dates, but fans are already buzzing about what this gravity-defying launch means for the live show’s vibe. If the teaser is anything to go by, the Lifetimes Tour is going to be otherworldly.
