Looks like Jonah Hill is out to continue enjoying the sun, sea and sand for the foreseeable future.
As the 37-year-old actor continues to delight in his newfound love for surfing, he bought new digs in the very exclusive Malibu Colony, a gated community that also happens to be home to the likes of Sting, Flea, John McEnroe and Rob Reiner. He landed the $9 Million Malibu mansion back in May and appears to spend most of his time there nowadays.
And it looks like Jonah will be getting a chance to spend more time hanging ten more than living in the city. According to Dirt.com, the Moneyball actor recently bid his Colonial-style home in Santa Monica adieu.
The four-bedroom home was priced at $6.7 million when he bought it in 2019 and he sold recently sold it in an off-market deal for $7.1 Million!
The 0.28 acre property is located along the Santa Monica canyon and boasts 3,100 square feet of living space.
The home’s main floor houses a cozy living room, a formal dining area, a kitchen updated with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, and leads out to a bougainvillea-laced patio.
Meanwhile, the master’s suite takes up an entire floor and has its own fireplace. The luxurious en suite is decked out in marble, has dual vanities, a soaking tub, and standalone shower, with a chandelier in the space upping the decadence factor. Two other rooms take up the upper level.
Some of the place’s highlights include a wood-burning fireplace in the living room, a brick pizza oven in the kitchen, an upper balcony that spans almost the entire length of the house, a sparkling pool and spa in the backyard, and a detached one-bedroom guesthouse in the backyard with its own fireplace, an indoor sauna and al fresco dining space.
While located along one of Santa Monica’s most sought-after streets, the property has plenty of privacy behind a gate and a number of magnolia trees out front.
Interestingly, both of Jonah’s recent properties were previously owned by the same family. He bought his Malibu mansion from Richard and Laurie Stark, while he bought his Santa Monica digs from the Stark’s eldest daughter, singer-songwriter Jesse Jo Stark, two years ago
