Joe Jonas is opening up about how quarantining with wife Sophie Turner at the start of the pandemic helped make their relationship stronger.
In a recent interview on WSJ.Magazine‘s “My Monday Morning” series, Joe revealed that he and Sophie “got very into Lego building” amid the COVID-19 lockdowns, which revealed their different approaches on tackling the project.
“My wife and I probably built 10 monstrous Legos,” Joe shared. “It was also quite funny, because I was super focused on helping her but then I was getting easily distracted and playing Fortnite.”
“At first we argued about it and then it was like, she loves her organization and it’s completely different from the way I would build it: ‘You do you; I’ll be here for support,’ ” he continued. “So then I became moral support.”
And, to those wondering how exactly he gave moral support for his wife, “I’ll make the cocktails for us,” he added.
The boozy drinks may not have been for two though as Joe and Sophie became expecting parents during quarantine – so he probably made Sophie mocktails.
The couple welcomed their daughter Willa in July of last year. And, in case you’re wondering how the brothers all kept in touch while isolating at home, turns out they have a Jonas Brothers group chat.
Joe even revealed the name of their group chat in the interview.
“Right now, it’s JB 2.0,” he shared, explaining, “It comes from deciding to get the band back together.”
