“It was the best,” Jeremy shared with Variety. “I wasn’t acting in that first day of hers, I was on set just like hanging out.”

She was very confident, I mean everybody knows how smart she is,” he continued. “She’s a beautiful actress and a very intuitive actress. And I think she’s a very beautiful and intuitive director as well.”

She opened up to Deadline about the emotional experience of directing for the first time. “I cried. It was written very beautifully,” Ayo said, recalling her reaction to reading the script. “I was just so moved by it and really really touched that Chris [Storer] had me in mind to direct it.”
