On Sunday, November 3, the 47-year-old Dawson’s Creek star shared the news in a statement. “I have colorectal cancer. I’ve been privately dealing with this diagnosis and have been taking steps to resolve it, with the support of my incredible family,” he said via a rep to Just Jared. Despite the diagnosis, James remains hopeful. “There’s reason for optimism, and I’m feeling good,” he added, showing resilience and a positive outlook.
