David and Victoria Beckham and the rest of the family are living it up on the Amalfi Coast in Italy, where they’ve been enjoying some fun in the sun aboard a yacht.
While dad David took some time to catch some rays, two of the Beckham kids, 16-year old Cruz and 10-year-old Harper also hit water on jet skis, which got them a visit from the Italian maritime police.
In photos published by The Sun, the police pulled up next to their yacht, and Cruz and Harper can be seen returning back onboard.
An eyewitness tells outlet, “Cruz and Harper had just started jet-skiing, and five minutes later the police boat arrived.”
“David was sun-bathing and he immediately left the deck and went downstairs to deal with it,” the source continued. “Both Cruz and Harper were wearing life-jackets and staying very near the yacht so it is hard to see what the problem was.
However, according to Italian law, you have to be at least 18-years-old to be able to ride a jet ski solo. David reportedly spent about an hour resolving the situation with the police – things appeared to have ended amicably though; they were later photographed fist-bumping and taking a selfie together.
Following their encounter with the police, David, Cruz, Harper and Victoria’s parents Jackie and Tony were photographed enjoying a leisurely lunch at Lo Scoglio, per The Daily Mail.
According to The Sun, the Beckhams may have another reason for jetting off to Italy – finding a wedding venue for Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz’s upcoming wedding.
The couple got engaged in July of last year, but are yet to set a wedding date. It’s thought that the couple is still waiting for things to calm down before they lay out the plans, but are slowly beginning to confirm some details for their ceremony.
They’ve also took another big step in their relationship last month – buying their first house together.
According to multiple reports, the couple reportedly sank in around $10.5 Million into a five-bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathroom home in Beverly Hills. The house also has more than 7,000-square-feet of living space and includes modern amenities like a luxury kitchen, a pool, spa, a bar, a wine cellar.
The home’s open plan structure features lots of glass doors floor-to-ceiling windows to take advantage of the sweeping views of the Hollywood Hills and Los Angeles. There are other cool amenities, too, like a private yoga room/gym, a dry sauna, a steam room, and a juice bar.
