Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo are giving fans a peek into their “perfect sanctuary.”

The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, moved out of their Beverly Hills mansion and into a charming one-story ranch-style home in Pacific Palisades, California in 2019.

“Beverly Hills just started to feel hectic,” the Maroon 5 front man explained.

Giving Architectural Digest a tour of their modern farm house, which was originally designed by Cliff May in the late 1930s, Adam also opened up about what made them fall in love with the place when they were choosing their current family home.

“We didn’t want a palatial McMansion. That’s just not who we are,” he shared. “We were attracted to this place because it felt homey. You could tell that kids had lived here before.”

The property, which was previously owned by exes Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, cost them a cool $31.95 Million. And they sank in some more in renovations to get it just the way they want it, with the help of mother-and-son design duo Kathleen and Tommy Clements.

Their home features modern amenities including a movie theater, large kitchen, music studio, and a bar. Their enormous backyard also comes with a gym, yoga studio, pool and beehive.

Adam, who admits to being somewhat of a design fanatic himself, has curated a collection of artworks by artists including Rashid Johnson, Raymond Pettibon and Sage Vaughn, which fill decorate the walls of their home.

Their kitchen also features an interesting choice of décor – a pair of Jordan 1s.

“I’m a big shoe head and a shoe collector, and these are just original Jordan 1s,” he shared during the video tour.

“I love the aesthetic of a worn out classic shoe. It’s weird that it’s in the kitchen, but whatever,” Adam continued.

“We love it,” Behati added.

As for the couple’s own space, their expansive master bedroom comes with enormous his and hers closets and a “dream bathroom” with a sauna.

The model’s walk-in closet is a “dream come true” for her – and also features an impressive sneaker collection that her husband helped her curate.

Meanwhile, Adam reveals the inspiration behind his closet: “Very shamelessly, the muse for the closet was basically watching the famous David Letterman/Kanye West interview, because I saw Kanye’s closet and just started to drool.”

The couple and their two daughters – four-year-old Dusty Rose, and three-year-old Gio Grace – spent their time isolating in their Pacific Palisades home during last year’s lockdowns amid the ongoing pandemic.

“The COVID lockdown made us especially grateful to have this place,” Adam said. “In a world where nothing ever seems to be enough, our home feels like a genuine unicorn, our perfect sanctuary.”

And, according to Behati, “It’s really all that we need or want.”
