Elizabeth Olsen is making waves with her latest thriller, The Assessment, but she’s also taking a moment to reflect on her famous family. The 36-year-old actress recently stopped by The Today Show and The Drew Barrymore Show while promoting her film in New York City, and naturally, talk turned to her well-known older sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Dressed in a chic cream-colored dress for her morning show appearance, Elizabeth later switched into a stylish blue set for her sit-down with Drew Barrymore. During her chat on Today, she opened up about what it was like growing up with the iconic twins and what she admires most about them.
“I’m one of six. I loved it, especially being the baby. I really enjoyed it,” she shared, reflecting on her childhood in the Olsen household.
When asked specifically about Mary-Kate and Ashley’s bond, she had nothing but praise. “I also really admire the partnership that they have and don’t compete with it, in a way. It’s something different. It’s a really interesting thing to watch. I admire it. It’s a different kind of connection.”
Elizabeth has long spoken about the influence her sisters have had on her life, from their work ethic to their ability to navigate Hollywood while maintaining a sense of privacy. Now a successful actress in her own right, she continues to carve out her own path while appreciating the unique connection her sisters share.
With The Assessment generating buzz, it’s clear that Elizabeth is shining in her own spotlight, while still holding deep respect for the family ties that shaped her.
