Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner proved once again that co-parenting can be a team effort, as the exes spent Thanksgiving Day giving back to the community.
On Thursday, November 28, the former couple reunited to participate in The Midnight Mission’s Thanksgiving Street Fair in Los Angeles. Together, they helped serve meals to those in need, making the holiday a meaningful one for their family and the community.
Joining them for the day of service were their three children: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
A source shared with People that the family “truly enjoy[s] giving back to their community and cherishing quality time together as a family.”
The charitable outing highlights the continued camaraderie between Ben and Jennifer, who have prioritized a positive co-parenting dynamic since their divorce in 2018. Married in 2005, the pair have remained supportive of one another as they navigate life post-split.
Another insider told People that Ben was “very happy with life” and planned to spend Thanksgiving surrounded by his kids.
Though they sparked whispers of a potential reconciliation earlier this year—following Ben’s split from wife Jennifer Lopez—those rumors were swiftly debunked. Garner remains happily involved with her partner, John Miller.
Ben and Jennifer’s Thanksgiving tradition serves as a reminder that family bonds and shared values can remain strong even after a divorce.
