Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson are getting ready to become parents!
The 37-year-old Gossip Girl star and 32-year-old actress, best known for Madrasapattinam, announced they’re expecting their first child together. The couple shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday (October 31), just two months after tying the knot in a beautiful Italian wedding.
Their announcement came in the form of a sweet Instagram carousel featuring intimate maternity photos. In one of the shots, Ed is seen holding Amy’s growing bump as they pose together in a lush meadow, capturing the joyful anticipation surrounding their growing family.
Ed and Amy began their journey as a couple in 2021, meeting in quite a memorable way. Both had been invited to a race day with Aston Martin at the iconic Silverstone racetrack. Reflecting on their fateful meeting, Ed shared, “I was there with a friend who knew her. I saw her and thought, ‘I’m going to make my move!’ We chatted for a bit, and I asked her if she wanted to meet me for a coffee.”
Amy didn’t just impress Ed off the track – she made a strong impression on it as well. “We had a wonderful day, and she beat me. Her lap time was a lot better than mine! She’s been making my heart race from day one!” Ed joked. Their connection only grew stronger from that point. Coincidentally, Amy had been planning a move to Hampstead in London, and as fate would have it, Ed was also looking to live in the same area. “I promise!” he laughed. “She moved, and I moved shortly afterward to my own place there, but very close to each other. She’s lovely, and a fierce girl.”
The couple continued their whirlwind romance, officially tying the knot in August of this year in a romantic ceremony in Italy. Now, just two months later, they’re thrilled to be sharing the news of their growing family.
