Dax Shepard just dropped a surprising revelation about his dating life!
In the latest episode of his podcast Armchair Expert, the 47-year-old actor revealed that he once dated Ashley Olsen.
Dax shared that he used to date the 35-year-old designer and former actress about “15 or 16 years ago” and said:
“I dated Ashley Olsen. And she’s just the most wonderful person. She’s fantastic!”
He stated that he loves getting updates about Ashley and her twin sister Mary-Kate’s clothing line because he was in her life during the early stages:
“When we were dating, it was when she was putting all her energy and focus into launching that in a big way. So I was able to see her meet with design teams and, like, run her sh*t and she handled her B, and it’s very impressive.”
He also spoke about how Ashley and Mary-Kate were as people and how he knew that him dating Ashley seemed a bit like an odd pairing:
“[Ashley and Mary-Kate are] sarcastic. I would imagine, on the surface, that’s a pretty weird pairing but she’s super funny, and sarcastic and intelligent.
And they are major f**king bosses.”
Dax went on to share that he never saw his ex’s show Full House back then, but when he first met he he was so in awe of how beautiful she was:
“I luckily never saw that show. Because I probably wouldn’t have been able to be attracted to Ashley if I knew her as a baby.
I just saw her at a party and was kind of thunderstruck by her beauty.”
He added that he was also drawn to Ashley because of her love of cars, and that at the time they were together, she has. Cadillac Seville GTS, one of his favorite cars at the time:
“I wouldn’t mind reconnecting with her to find out if she has that GTS!”
