Cole Sprouse and Ross Lynch are so not thrilled with what some people have been saying about them online.
On Sunday (April 19), Cole went on Instagram Stories to blast so-called fans for their “insanity and fanaticism.”
“I tolerate a lot of rumors and slander from people online claiming to be my fans. Fans who feel entitled to my privacy precisely because I never indulge them,” he wrote. “But attacking my friends, baseless accusations, leaking my address, and sending death threats are all qualities of insanity and fanaticism. Choose humanity, stop being [clowns].”
“When I first stepped into a public relationship, this was one of the foreseeable consequences,” he continued. “While I truly never intended to indulge any part of my private life to the ravenous horde, it’s clear my restraint in updating them has allowed them to push their own agenda onto my habits and lifestyle.”
He didn’t exactly specify the reason for his post, but some believe it to be about a rumor going around that he cheated on Lili Reinhart with Kaia Gerber, causing them to break up.
Dating in the limelight hasn’t been easy for the Riverdale co-stars who started dating in 2017. Although they try to keep their personal lives as private as possible, breakup speculations have surrounded the couple time and time again. But it sure seems like Cole is so over it.
He concluded his message with: “So in conclusion — please eat my delectable plump a**. (Making me post a god**mn white font insta story like a twice divorced mother of three.)”
Over at Greendale (a couple of towns away from Riverdale), another couple has also been getting some not-so-nice comments criticizing their real-life relationship.
Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina star Ross Lynch, who has a real-life relationship with co-star Jaz Sinclair, went on Instagram with a message of his own to their critics.
Ross and Jaz have been quarantining together and he recently posted some new couple photos, captioned, “Yo guys whoever is being hateful to jasmine and I’s relationship (especially on a race basis wtf) can take a step back. We are both extremely happy. Thanks 👍”
Just last week, Ross, who is also a member of the band The Driver Era alongside brother Rocky Lynch, opened up about wanting to collaborate with his real-life girlfriend.
“Honestly if we were going to collaborate with anybody, it’d probably be one of my castmates, Jasmine Sinclair,” Ross told A Book Of. “Just because of the relationship that already exists. That, to us, is more important than the success of somebody. But with that being said, we would be so down to collaborate with pretty much anybody you know.”
