Photos of a recent bike ride Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz took around New York City is breathing new life into speculations that the pair may actually be dating.
Channing recently shared videos of a bike ride he took on Instagram Stories, writing, “Nothing feels better than this.” The clip showed him in a white shirt pedaling on a bridge in NYC. He also shared some city scenes that he found interesting along the way.
But apparently, this isn’t the first time he’s gone cycling around the Big Apple. On Wednesday (August 18), he was snapped taking a stroll with Zoe around the city, which was followed by a joint bike ride together.
Dressed casually in denims – Channing paired his with a blue shirt; Zoe, a black tank – the two looked REALLY close as Zoe balanced behind Channing on the bike’s hind wheels with her arms wrapped around the actor’s neck.
Channing hasn’t dated anyone publicly since he and longtime girlfriend Jessie J split in October 2020.
The two, who reportedly met on the set of Zoe’s upcoming directorial debut, Pussy Island, first sparked dating rumors earlier this year shortly after Zoe filed for divorce from Karl Glusman in January.
However, an E! News source debunked the rumors at the time, telling the outlet the actress was very much “still single.”
In June, the pair spoke with Deadline about their upcoming project together, with Zoe revealing that Channing was her first choice to play the lead in her movie, and even wrote the character with him in mind.
“I just knew from Magic Mike and his live shows, I got the sense he’s a true feminist and I wanted to collaborate with someone who was clearly interested in exploring this subject matter,” she shared.
Channing also revealed that he was “shocked” when he got a call from Zoe about the part.
“When Zoë called me about this, I was shocked. I didn’t know her. I’d watched her in movies, knew she produced High Fidelity and had seen that, but I didn’t know she was creating on a level like this, where she wanted to direct,” he told the outlet. “This came out of nowhere and the subject matter made me say, wait, why are you thinking about me for this? No one gives me a chance to play a role like this, everybody throws me down a different alley and expects me to do a certain thing. It was scary and liberating, just to be able to have a free conversation, where I was allowed to mess up, and say the wrong things.”
As the interview went on, the two also offered an insight to how they well they’ve gotten along from get-go while making it clear that they were just pals.
Sharing an anecdote about a fashion advice he got from Zoe, Channing said, “When someone can just come out and tell me I should not be wearing Crocs, and is so adamant about it, she completely convinced me and I never wear Crocs anymore. I get it, but I totally loved Crocs for a hot second, and in one hang she was like, you can’t ever do that again. And I said, ‘OK, fine.'”
“I was just trying to be a good friend, Chan,” Zoe told him, adding, “Just to be clear, there are people out there who can pull off the Crocs thing; I just wasn’t sure you were one of them.”
With the recent photos of the pair hanging out, these two clearly continue to enjoy each other’s company – and the jury’s still out on whether there’s something more going on. Channing and Zoe’s reps are yet to respond to requests for comment.
