Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck
J.Lo celebrated her 52nd birthday in July with a trip to Saint Tropez with recently reconciled beau Ben and some of their friends. The loved-up pair also marked the special occasion by going public with their rekindled romance – and they did it in high style: with a kiss onboard a mega yacht. They didn’t just dock on the French Riviera either – they’ve been snapped on PDA-filled outings in Monaco and Italy as they enjoyed luxe European yacht trip.
Their vessel of choice is named the Valerie, a 279-foot yacht that houses seven cabins, an 18-foot pool, its own spa, and semi-circular hammam. Hailed as 2016’s biggest superyacht, it charters for $1 Million a week. The yacht is reportedly owned by billionaire Rinat Akhmetov – but is listed for sale for a whopping $130 million!
Alex Rodriguez
A-Rod also hit up the South Of France to celebrate his 46th birthday – which happens to be just three days after ex-fiancee J.Lo’s birthday. And, apparently, it was no coincidence that the exes were at the same place at the same time.
“Before they broke up, J.Lo and A-Rod had planned a trip together to the French Rivera for her birthday,” a source told E! News. “Ultimately, he decided not to change his plans and still go—and she also decided to keep her trip but go with Ben, which is why they’re all there right now.”
His celebrations, however, took place on an entirely different vessel – the Ocean Paradise. The 180-foot yacht is decked out with gorgeous Zen-like interiors – including its six cabins. The luxury vessel has also been outfitted with a lounge with a dance floor, an oversized pool, and a gym. It costs $312,000 a week to charter, but those looking for more permanent arrangements can buy it for a cool $32 million.
Tom Cruise
Even Tom know when to take a break – and he took some time off from filming Mission Impossible 7 in the U.K. in July to do just that. After attending prestigious events like the Wimbledon, the Silverstone Grand Prix, and the Euros 2020 final, Tom enjoyed some downtime sailing the high seas in Cornwall – onboard the 223-foot luxury yacht Triple Seven.
Fun definitely isn’t impossible when you’ve got 5 staterooms, a movie theater, a private beach club, a gym, a spa deck, plus a range of big boy toys like a Waverunner, kite surfers, various surf skis, an outrigger canoe, mountain bikes, as well as scuba and fishing equipment at your disposal – but it comes with the price tag of $635K a week. Per the Daily Mail, the megayacht cost billionaire Roman Abramovich $45 million.
Rebel Wilson
Rebel is living her best life – and making headlines! The actress is enjoying a grand holiday that’s taken her from Italy to the South Of France. She was definitely “living the high life” onboard the Twizzle.
Priced at $320,000 a week to charter, the 57.5-meter sailing yacht can accommodate up to eight guests in its four cabins (each with en suite showers) and comes with an 11-person crew. The award-winning interiors also set up guests in luxurious comfort with cashmere throws, soft leathers, woven linens, and hand-painted silk accents.
Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa has been heating up the Italian coast with stylish swimsuit photos since attending the Filming Italy Festival in Sardinia last month. The actress has been sharing photos from her European getaway, which includes a bit of adventure on the high seas.
At the start of August, Vanessa shared a photo of herself in a red floral swimsuit posing by the stairs of a swanky yacht. In one photo, the actress stared off into the distance while standing on deck, showcasing the yacht’s lounge area with a pool. More recently, she posted about “missing” Capri, where she attended the star-studded UNICEF fundraiser, sharing a photo of herself wearing a Alexandre Vauthier gown with a high-slit as she posed by the railings of a luxurious yacht.
