Bruno Mars isn’t letting a little gossip ruin his groove.

The “Die With a Smile” singer had the perfect response to recent rumors about his alleged gambling debt—by turning it into a joke.

On Tuesday (January 28), while celebrating a huge career milestone on Spotify, Bruno poked fun at the speculation with a cheeky Instagram Story. Sharing the news that he had officially become the first artist in Spotify history to hit 150 million monthly listeners, he added, “KEEP STREAMING! I’ll be out of debt in no time.”

To drive the point home, he included a dancing man emoji and a clip from Silk Sonic’s “777”, a song packed with Vegas references, including the fitting lyrics: “I’m ’bout to buy Las Vegas after this roll.”

Bruno’s joke comes after reports last year claimed he was $50 million in debt to MGM Resorts, the company behind his Las Vegas residencies. The rumor suggested he was working off his losses by continuing to perform at the venue. MGM, however, strongly denied the allegations.

Whether there was ever any truth to the claims or not, Bruno’s clearly not sweating it—just rolling with the punches and making history while he’s at it.
