Looks like Brooke Shields will be staying closer to her roots for the foreseeable future.
With the Manhattan-native actress and husband Chris Henchy spending most of their time in New York City, where they live in a four-story West Village townhouse, it appears Brooke is ready to bid her Pacific Palisades home goodbye – for $8.195 Million.
Originally built in 1982, the three-storey, five-bedroom home is a rustic chalet-style residence located in the Riviera neighborhood. The secluded property sits on a .43 acre lot and boasts 5,300 square feet of living space – with the master suite occupying the top floor, penthouse-style.
The master suite features a fireplace-equipped bedroom, a sitting room, and a balcony looking out towards the Getty Museum. It comes with its own bespoke walk-in closet and dressing room and a spa-inspired bath with its own fireplace, a soaking tub, marble-clad steam shower, plus a makeup vanity. It also has a private office/study.
There are four additional bedrooms on the lower floors, as well as a media lounge, wet bar and games room.
The house comes with dark-stained Douglas fir hardwood floors and whitewashed beamed ceilings and is decorated in shabby chic-style interiors.
The main level showcases a massive living room, a formal dining room and a fully updated chef’s kitchen with a marble island and top-of-the-line stainless appliances. There’s also a fireplace and wall of glass doors leading to a wraparound terrace where one can take in splendid canyon and mountain views.
The home sits on a steeply-sloped lot, has been designed with plenty of accessible outdoor space, including a secluded pool and spa with waterfall feature, plus a deck perfect for al fresco dining.
The actress has owned the property for over two decades – she bought it back when she and ex-husband Andre Agassi first got married.
It’s also been listed on-and-off as a rental over the past several years and is rumored to have once been home to former couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner when they were renovating their property a few doors away, per Dirt.com.
Aside from the $5.5. Million townhouse in NYC, which they’ve owned since 2008, Brooke and Chris’ real-estate portfolio also includes a multimillion-dollar vacation getaway in the Hamptons.
