Britney Spears is back on the ‘Gram and commemorating some very special occasions.
Just one day after returning to social media after a week-long break, the 39-year-old popstar, shared a sweet updated about her sons – 16-year-old Sean Preston, and 15-year-old Jayden James, whom she shares with ex Kevin Federline – who recently celebrated another year around the sun.
Posting a quote that reads “There is nothing stronger than the love between a mother and son,” Britney wrote, “My boys’ birthdays were last week … and unfortunately they are growing up and want to do their own things …. “
“I have to ask their permission to post them because they are extremely independent little men 🤷🏼♀️😂🥺 !!!” she continued. “Anyway we had a small party and the coolest ice cream cakes 🍨 🎂 !!! It makes me crazy because they are so tall and geez they are still growing 😳😳😳 !!!”
She also shared new milestones in her motherhood journey, adding, “They went to a dance last week and I cried for two days 😭😭😭 my babies in a suit !!! It’s crazy !!! And girls get ready cause my boys are so handsome 🥰🥰🥰 !!!”
“I truly believe this quote which is why I wanted to share it …,” she went on.
Britney rarely posts about her kids, which she explains is partly because they prefer to not be in the spotlight, however, she did share a few details.
“There’s a lot I can’t share with you all because my kids are very private which I love but I will tell you they are both extremely talented and I’m so incredibly blessed to have these two little men in my life ❤️🙏🏼 !!!”
She also wrote a message for her two boys. “And if they’re reading this … which I’m pretty sure they’re not … I love you two little devils so much 😈❤️😈 !!!”
It appears the mom-of-two has much to celebrate – including major developments in her conservatorship case AND her recent engagement to Sam Asghari.
Earlier this month, Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, filed a petition asking the judge to terminate her conservatorship.
“As Mr. Spears has said again and again, all he wants is what is best for his daughter,” the court docs read, in part. “If Ms. Spears wants to terminate the conservatorship and believes that she can handle her own life, Mr. Spears believes that she should get that chance.”
A week later, her longtime love, Sam Asghari, whom she has been dating for over four years after meeting on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video, proposed with a four-carat custom-design engagement ring – and girl said yes!
However, after a few days, fans were shocked when Britney’s Instagram page was nowhere to be found. She was still on Twitter though, where she explained her decision to quit IG for the time being.
“Don’t worry folks … just taking a little break from social media to celebrate my engagement !!!!” She tweeted at the time, “I’ll be back soon.”
Britney’s followers mostly rely on her candid posts for updates in her life. And many breathed a sigh of relief when she returned to the platform following a weeklong hiatus.
