Blake Lively isn’t staying silent about The Hollywood Reporter’s latest cover story, and she’s calling them out in a big way.

The 37-year-old actress, known for her work in It Ends With Us, has been in a legal battle with her co-star and director Justin Baldoni. But it was the magazine’s recent cover image that sparked outrage. The illustration depicted Blake using a slingshot to fire a cellphone at Justin as he ran away—a framing that her rep says is deeply problematic.

“The Hollywood Reporter should be ashamed of itself,” Blake’s spokesperson stated in a response shared with JustJared.com.

They continued, “The framing in this picture is outrageously insulting as it plays into every sexist trope about women who dare file a workplace complaint, turning them into the aggressor, and suggesting they deserve the retaliation that comes their way. In addition, the story is extremely offensive as it incredibly seems to explain away documented examples of sexual harassment and retaliation by calling them ‘cultural misunderstandings.’”

The controversy doesn’t stop there. The article also mentions actress Jenny Slate as one of the individuals who allegedly filed a complaint against Baldoni, further fueling discussions about workplace misconduct in Hollywood.
