Bella Hadid is taking Paris, France by storm with her stylish looks.
The 24-year-old model has been in the City of Lights for over a week – she attended the Dior Homme Menswear show for Paris Fashion Week on Friday (June 25) – and has also been photographed rocking some head-turning ensembles since.
Bella is known for her grungy edgy style. More recently, she’s been giving some 90s and early 2000s fashion trends some rockin’ updates – namely, the low-rise pants.
For Friday’s Dior show, Bella wore a sheer black asymmetric halter top paired with low-rise green snakeskin pants. She completed the look with a black pointed stilettos and a stylish briefcase that perfectly matched her pants. And if green snakeskin pants aren’t bold enough, she made an even bolder style statement by going braless under her black top.
On Monday, Bella took to Instagram to share her sexy new take on cargo pants. Rocking a pair of low slung cargo pants, Bella wore a mini Jacquemus cardigan. The top, which was fuschia pink, appears to be a crop top take on the cardigan trend.
In another set of selfies, Bella also mixed and matched textiles and textures in Nicola Brognano – bringing together a pair of low-slung leather pants with a one-shoulder top with a woolen trim and tying the look together with butterflies, which are featured prominently in her belt and sandals.
The low-rise pants of the 2000s appears to have gotten a fresh new twist in another of Bella’s Paris outfits. She was photographed wearing a black tank and black pants. While those items sound like wardrobe staples, her black flared pants featured cutouts on the hips, giving off a low-rise vibe without actually being low-rise.
Bella is no stranger to mixing and matching designer and vintage pieces as well, and was also photographed over the weekend rocking a look straight from the 2000s – a Jean Paul Gaultier style butterfly lace-up top from that year.
Bella isn’t the only one rocking bringing back iconic looks from the early 2000s. On Sunday, Zendaya made a stunning style statement with a vintage Versace dress from the early aughts – the same dress Beyonce wore to her BET debut as a solo artist in 2003.
Zendaya is known for paying tribute to her style icons and her long-time stylist, Law Roach, confirmed on Instagram that the style choice was a Beyonce tribute. “Paying homage to the Queen Beyoncé wearing @versace SS2003…..get you a stylist with a ARCHIVE!!!!” he wrote.
The actress did pull a few style stops to make the look her own – like opting for a maxi version of the dress vs. Beyonce’s shorter skirt in 2003. She also paired the dress with strappy purple heels and topped with look off a sleek middle-parted low ponytail and dangling earrings.
