After sparking a whole debate on celebrity bathing habits last month, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are poking fun at themselves over their comments.
On Wednesday (August 11), Ashton and Mila went on Instagram and jokingly shared a video about their kids bathing.
“That’s water,” Mila said of the sound of their children taking a shower.
“You’re putting water on the children?” Ashton asks his wife with mock horror. “Are you trying to melt them? Are you trying to injure them with water?”
“This is ridiculous. What’s going on?” he asks again.
Mila couldn’t keep from laughing as she replied to her husband, “We’re bathing our children.”
“That’s like the fourth time this week. Four times this week,” Ashton exclaims.
“It’s too much,” she agrees.
“Their body oils are gonna be destroyed. What are you trying to do?” he added.
As a refresher, the married couple, who are parents to six-year-old daughter Wyatt Isabelle and four-year-old son Dimitri Portwood, guested on the Armchair Expert podcast last month where they told hosts Dax Shepard and Monica Padman, “When I had children, I also didn’t wash them every day” and “Here’s the thing—if you can see the dirt on ’em, clean ’em. Otherwise, there’s no point.”
Several celebrities have since weighed in on the discussion of bathing habits, including Kristen Bell and husband Dax, Jake Gyllenhaal, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jason Momoa, and more.
The latest to share her thoughts on the matter is Cardi B, who tweeted to her followers, “Wassup with people saying they don’t shower ? It’s giving itchy.”
