Amanda Bynes’ conservatorship is reportedly about to end.
Reports have it that a judge is set to end her conservatorship on Tuesday (March 22). The 35-year-old actress filed court documents last month in a move to end her conservatorship, which has been in place for nine years.
Legal documents obtained by TMZ show that the judge in her case issued a tentative ruling on Monday (March 21) and said that her conservatorship is “no longer required.”
This is just a tentative ruling, but a court hearing has been set for Tuesday morning. The judge is reportedly most likely officially terminate Amanda’s conservatorship by this point, since there has been no objections from anyone with regard to her petition.
Amanda’s lawyer David A. Esquibias revealed a few days ago that ending her conservatorship has been in the works for a very long time. He stated that her decision was not due to Britney Spears’ case, and that while Britney’s relationship with her parents has been very troubled, Amanda has kept a close relationship with her mom and dad.
After the tentative ruling on Monday, David shared that Amanda is looking forward to ‘normalcy’:
“I’m excited for her. She is excited. We’re all excited and we’re all anxiously looking forward to
Amanda living a life as a private and normal citizen.”
