In a new interview with Bumble, the 30-year-old actor shared his thoughts on relationships, first impressions, and what he values most in a partner.
For Aaron, it all comes down to energy. “That’s a big thing for me,” he shared. “I’ve always been like this, from when I was young. I’m very sensitive to energies around me. Do I feel safe in their energy? Do I feel happy, do I feel joyful? Do I feel seen, as well? Those are important things.”
Forget grand gestures or flashy nights out—Aaron prefers something simple and relaxed. “I really like the idea of there being minimal amounts of pressure for both parties in an environment where it’s just about conversation and getting to know each other. My first date is low-key like a coffee shop or bakery, and then we can go and explore different options.”
We’ve all been there, and Aaron is no exception. When asked if he remembers his first rejection, he didn’t hesitate: “Yes! I answered that too quickly, but I do.”
At this stage in his life, Aaron is embracing vulnerability. “At this time in my life, I’m confident in my capacity to be emotionally vulnerable. I’m energized by the idea of being open and the potential it has for developing trust and equal foundations.”
