An entry from Amber Heard’s diary was read aloud during Johnny Depp’s court battle with The Sun.

ICYMI, Johnny is suing British tabloid The Sun and its executive editor Dan Wootton for calling him a “wife-beater” — an allegation he vehemently denies.

Amber wrote about a “terrible” fight she and Johnny had on a train ride during their honeymoon in 2015.

Per Press Association, Amber wrote: “Our fight was terrible. Johnny… at one point found himself with his shirt wrapped around my neck. Amazing to think about (the) precision, co-ordination that required considering the close circumstances… I don’t even know how I wound up with this huge, rather annoying knot on the back of my head. F–k, I hate that.”

“We finally fell asleep with one another smashed together in desperate, childlike anger, fear and love,” she added.

The excerpt was read during the questioning of Johnny’s personal security, Malcolm Connolly, who was also on the train journey at the time.

“So, if a fight had taken place at 3.30 in the morning, do you think you would necessarily have known about it?” Sasha Wass QC, who is representing The Sun’s publisher News Group Newspapers, asked.

“I would never have known about it,” Malcolm replied.

Malcolm also said that he never saw Johnny “physically attack or hit” Amber – nor would he tolerate it.

“I wouldn’t tolerate any man striking a woman. No matter who he was, I just wouldn’t tolerate that,” he added. “Not even if he’s my boss. I don’t care if he’s the Pope.”

He did add that he had “heard of” instances of Amber attacking Johnny.

The trial continues. Keep it here for more updates.
