POPSTAR! “BREAKFAST WITH THE JOBROS” SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY OR PAYMENT REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING WITH ENTRY. ENTRANTS MUST BE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 6 AND 18 DURING THE TERM TO ENTER. 

1. SPONSOR: Popstar! Publishing, L.L.C., 6052 Turkey Lake Rd., Ste. 203, Orlando, FL 32819.

2. SWEEPSTAKES PROMOTION: From August 12th through August 14th at 8:00 a.m. (“Term”), Popstar! Magazine (“Magazine”) will promote the Popstar!“Breakfast with the JoBros" Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”), by means of on-line advertising at PopstarOnline.com, and the opportunity to win the Grand Prize as detailed below. All times and days in these Official Rules (“Rules”) are Eastern Standard Time. All information being collected hereunder is to be solely used in the administration of the Sweepstakes.

3. MEANS OF ENTRY: There is one (1) way to enter the Sweepstakes:

A. E-MAIL ENTRY: You may enter by e-mailing your one-sentence reason for wanting to meet the Jonas Brothers, your full name, address [city, state, zip code] daytime phone number with area code, e-mail address, special code, date of birth and a statement of parental consent. E-mail to: popstar@popstaronline.com. On the SUBJECT LINE, enter “POPSTAR! ‘BREAKFAST WITH THE JOBROS' SWEEPSTAKES.” Special code is found at Facebook.com/PopstarMagazine.

Only completed entries (entrants must provide answers to all questions) received during the Term will be considered eligible by Magazine’s editors (“Judges”) in choosing the winner of the Sweepstakes. On August 14th, 2010, at 9:00 a.m., Judges will randomly select one (1) entrant from all eligible entries. Winner will be announced shortly after notification is made at PopstarOnline.com and via Twitter.com/PopstarMagazine.

4. LIMITATIONS: All entries must be received by August 14th, 2010, at 8:00 a.m. EST. Limit one (1) entry per person, per household. Open only to persons between the ages of thirteen (13) and eighteen (18) years of age during the Term who are legal residents of, and physically located within, the 50 United States, its territories, or Canada (“Territory”). Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors and interns) who have, within the past six (6) months, performed service for the Sponsor, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Sweepstakes or supplying the prizes, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies (individually and collectively, “Entities”), and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. Any person who, within the past six (6) months, has been awarded a Grand Prize in any Sweepstakes or sweepstakes conducted by Sponsors is not eligible to enter or play. Entities are not responsible for errors or inaccurate, incomplete, lost, misdirected or late entries. Void where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

5. PRIZE: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: The Grand Prize winner (“Winner”) of the Sweepstakes will experience the chance of a lifetime by meeting the Jonas Brothers, getting their autograph and posing with them at a brief photo opportunity to be held at a New York City breakfast (accompanied by a parent/legal guardian). In addition to Winner’s parent/legal guardian, one (1) or more of Sponsor’s representatives and one (1) or more of Artist’s representatives will accompany Winner and Artist. The Grand Prize is: [1] brief meeting with the Artist; [2] breakfast for Winner (and parent/legal guardian); [3] the Artist's autograph; [4] a picture with the Artist. NO TRANSPORTATION OR LODGING IS AVAILABLE, SO WINNER MUST BE AVAILABLE AND/OR IN NEW YORK CITY ON MONDAY, AUGUST 16TH, 2010, IN THE MORNING. All expenses not specifically mentioned herein are not included and are solely Winner's responsibility.  Approximate retail value: five hundred U.S. Dollars ($500). Prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable. No substitution allowed except, at Sponsor's sole discretion, a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted. If Artist cancels due to circumstances beyond Artist's control, no prize will be awarded.

6. PROCEDURES: Sweepstakes begins on August 12th and ends on August 14th, 2010, at 8:00 a.m. Odds of winning Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Term. Many will enter. Only one (1) will win.

7. WINNERS: will be notified by telephone on August 14th, 2010, and announced publicly at PopstarOnline.com and Twitter.com/PopstarMagazine. Winner must meet all eligibility requirements. All responsibilities of the Winner under the Rules will be assumed by parent/legal guardian (“Parent”). Disqualification and the forfeiture of the prize may result from any of the following the return of any notification as undeliverable/the inability to contact Winner or any other non-compliance with the Rules. If a potential Winner forfeits the prize, it will not be awarded. Any minor must be accompanied by his/her parent or guardian. Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the Winner. 8. CONDITIONS: Each entrant by entering this Sweepstakes agrees that: [1] he/she will abide by and be bound by the Rules and Magazine's decisions; [2] the Sweepstakes application, or other form of entry, becomes solely Magazine's property and will not be acknowledged or returned, so no phone calls should be made by entrant to Magazine's offices to ascertain receipt; [3] none of the Entities, nor any of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents or representatives (individually and collectively, “Releasees”) are responsible for claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of the prize or participation in this Sweepstakes or in any activity or travel related thereto; [4] Winner's acceptance of the prize constitutes the grant of an unconditional right to use Winner's name, address (city and state only), voice, likeness, photograph, biographical and prize information and/or statements about the promotion for any publicity, advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity, except where prohibited by law; [5] in the event unauthorized human intervention, acts of God, acts or regulations of any governmental or supra-national authority, war, national emergency, accident, fire, riot, strikes, lock-outs, industrial disputes, acts of terrorism or other matters beyond Magazine's reasonable control, corrupt, prevent or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes, so that it cannot be conducted as originally planned, Magazine has the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Sweepstakes; and in such event, to select a Winner, as specified in Section 6 of the Rules herein, from among all eligible entries received up to such time of cancellation, termination or suspension; [6] the Releasees are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to errors in the advertising, Rules and selection and announcement of the Winner; [7] any portion of the prize not accepted by the Winner will be forfeited and [8] the Releasees are not responsible for any inability of the Winner to accept or use any prize (or portion thereof) for any reason.
